A shot I love from 2016 – The hug

Here is the next instalment in the series of shots I love from 2016 weddings.

This one was from Anika and Sophie’s wedding at the Ashes. One of the most memorable weddings of 2016 for me as Anika and Sophie broke loads of traditions and were such an absolute pleasure to work with.

This was straight after the ceremony, Anika and Sophie were standing just outside the barn where the wedding ceremony had taken place greeting guests as they were leaving the barn. Sophie, one of the brides, has her back to me which enabled me to capture the emotion on her bridesmaids face during the hug.

Photos like this are so important, they really show the true emotion that weddings can stir up in people.
