Heaton House farm wedding with a Disney theme

Katie and Matey got married at one of my favourite venues, Heaton House farm, and had the most fun theme of the year – Disney!

This was a late summers wedding and although the day started off a bit damp by the afternoon the sun was shining. Perfect for a wedding at Heaton house Farm where we can make use of the stunning water gardens and unspoilt views over the Cheshire and Staffordshire countryside.

I’ve done many wedding at Heaton House and this was one of the best, every room had amazing attention to detail, following the theme without being in the slightest bit tacky. Everything from spectacular ice sculptures to disney masks and a full size vintage carousel. Both Katie and Matey and the team at Heaton House had pulled out all the stops to make this wedding unique.

What can I say about the service apart from EMOTION – and tonnes of it! Was there a single dry eye in the house? Even myself and the videographer were struggling to contain ourselves! The gospel singers added to the atmosphere as they sang on Katie’s entrance and signing of the register. They are another touch of class proving the attention to detail that had gone into planning this wedding.

After the ceremony the guests were entertained outside by a gospel band whilst they enjoyed canapés, Pimms and home made disney biscuits. The lawn games were in full swing and guests were dancing their socks off..

After the speeches the evening reception really kicked off.. the carousel was lit up and in full swing, all the guests mined in – even some of the Heaton House team had a go!

The dance floor was buzzing whilst the band were playing and shortly after Katie and Matey enjoyed their first dance together.
